DEREK ARCHAMBAULT (DEFEATER, ALCOA) POSTS NEW VIDEO FROM THANK YOU EP
Teaser Video by Ryan Mackfall for Pledge Music Campaign
Derek Archambault is in the thick of a necessary crowd funding campaign for a hip replacement that he so desperately needs.  After years on the road with Defeater and Alcoa, Derek had to take a break due to his limited mobility and pain issues and cancel a number of tour dates and opportunities.  He is in need of a complete hip replacement this coming September to get him back on the road.  Last month, he launched a Pledge Music campaign and is currently in the home stretch, but is only at 87% of his $50,000.00 surgery cost.

The Pledge Music campaign provides great reward with donation; Derek has recorded a new EP (appropriately titled Thank You) that is available for only $5 as a digital download and $25 on CD format.  The EP features five tracks, including a new version of Defeater's "I Don't Mind", and acoustic covers of "Shambles" by Make Do And Mend, Blacklisted's "Stations", "Young Kerouacs" by I Am The Avalanche, and Elder Brother's "Who's Gonna Carry You Home?"

Today, we've premiered a teaser video for the EP that includes never-before-seen footage of Archambault (as well as Defeater) in the studio and on the road, set to a backdrop of clips from the Thank You EP.  Watch the video now on AltPress.com, and please check out and donate to the Pledge Music campaign here.  Thank you for your support.
