AVIATOR REVEALS NEW VIDEO FOR “THERE WAS A LIGHT (IT WENT OUT)” TO BROOKLYNVEGAN.COM
August 6, 2014 – Los Angeles, CA – New England avant-garde hardcore band Aviator has premiered a new video for their song “There Was A Light (It Went Out)” today with BrooklynVegan.com. The track is featured on the band’s forthcoming record, Head In The Clouds, Hands In The Dirt, which is due out on August 19th via No Sleep Records. The album is currently available for pre-order at https://nosleeprecords.com/product/7290.
The new video was directed by Erik Rojas and features an artistically shot performance by the band set to one of their most intense songs from the new album.
"Between heavy riffing and some rock-god moments, this song is one of our favorites to play live,” says drummer Aviv Marotz. “I'm really happy with the way Erik Rojas pulled out the emotion of this song, accurately displaying feelings of anxiety and stagnation. Amen"
“There Was A Light (It Went Out)” is the latest released song from Aviator’s impressive debut full-length record, Head In The Clouds, Hands In The Dirt, which also includes recently released tracks “Head Noise” and “Pipe Dreams.”
Aviator will kick off an east coast tour later this month in support of the new record, which will be followed by No Sleep Records’ recently announced “Death To False Music Tour” with labelmates Rescuer, Seasons Change, The Felix Culpa, In Between and Foreign Tongues.
